You Can Make a Difference

At NHRRA we believe that our rail projects are important for our communities. To promote our aims we rely totally on volunteer efforts supported by membership donations from the public and businesses. Becoming a member ensures that your contribution will be used solely for the furtherance of our initiatives. Monies go primarily go towards marketing, public relations and research costs that help articulate and publicize our efforts.

As a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit educational organization, membership donations are tax-deductible contributions.

Individual Membership

An individual membership of the NHRRA costs $24 per year. You can either pay by check or cash using the details at the end of this page or you can enroll as a member on line and pay by credit card. Clicking on the following link will take you to the on-line enrollment process.

Corporate Membership

Your organization can demonstrate its support for the rail project by becoming a corporate member for $250 per year. We do offer additional membership packages for corporations that include advertising opportunities. You can click on the following link to find out more.

Take an Active Role with the NHRRA

If you want to get out and about and actively participate in our campaign we would welcome your help. We are looking for people who have the following skills and can take a leading role in our campaign;

§ Campaign management

Support the New Hampshire Rail Transit Authority

The New Hampshire Rail Transit Authority (NHRTA) is the newly created state agency that has the authority to operate commuter trains. The NHRTA will establish and oversee the operation of passenger rail service and will be responsible for working with local governments to establish station sites, setting fares, and creating schedules. The NHRTA needs help seeking funding to implement passenger rail service.

Meetings are held every third Friday of the month at 10:00 A.M.

Send a Letter to your Representative

Help promote commuter rail in the State of New Hampshire by sending a letter of support to your local representative. Open the document with a word processing program (Microsoft Word) and change all appropriate locations with your name, address, date, and name of your representative. When you have the letter updated, just print the letter and send it to your representative.
